Education Specialist - TRiO Student Support Services
University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana

• Support over 30 students on the Texarkana campus through the navigation of the higher education system by connecting them with needed resources

• Develop & execute professional development workshops in response to student need assessment data

• Facilitated the addition of virtual tutoring as a regular offering, thus expanding reach of tutors by 10 direct contacts and impact of grant funds

2018 - 2021

County Extension Agent - 4-H 
University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service 

• Researched, prepared, executed, and evaluated programming for Miller County youth ages 5 - 19 in both formal and informal educational settings with more than 9 school collaborators

• Leveraged a variety of educational tools and strategies to achieve desired interactions and responses from target audience, including infographics reaching more than 1500 direct contacts

• Worked with 8 adult volunteers to determine priority areas of county programming annually

• Served as primary administrator for 4-H programming while maintaining civil rights compliance for a programs reaching an average of 6000 youth each year

• Regularly implemented new systems and protocols to meet information dissemination needs in changing educational environment

• Provided group and individual support to 4-H members as they work to meet project goals, complete leadership applications, and train for contests

• Attended 24 professional development workshops to develop and sharpen skills and knowledge base in teaching methods and program management strategies from 2018-2020
